These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Orbita Messenger (“Orbita”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Orbita, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Orbita.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Orbita. By using Orbita you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your account
You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your phone secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
3. Acceptable use and zero tolerance for objectionable content
Orbita is a communication tool and it relies on a community that treats each other with respect. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You agree that you will not use Orbita to create, upload, send, or share content that:
- is unlawful, harassing, threatening, hateful, or that bullies, defames, or intimidates any person;
- is sexually explicit, exploits or endangers minors, or is otherwise obscene;
- promotes violence, self-harm, terrorism, or illegal activity;
- infringes anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
- is spam, fraudulent, or a scam; or
- contains malware or attempts to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users.
You may not impersonate others, harvest data, or use Orbita to abuse, stalk, or harm other users.
Orbita provides in-app tools to report objectionable content or users and to block abusive users. We review reports and may remove content and warn, suspend, or permanently remove accounts that violate these Terms. We aim to act on valid reports of objectionable content and abusive users within 24 hours. We may remove content and terminate accounts at our discretion to keep the community safe.
4. User content
You retain ownership of the content you create and send. You are solely responsible for your content and for ensuring you have the rights to share it. You grant Orbita the limited rights needed to store, process, transmit, and display your content to operate the service (including delivering it to your intended recipients and syncing your history to your devices).
5. AI features
Orbita includes AI assistance that helps you create and manage tasks from your messages. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete; you are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it. Do not use AI features to generate prohibited content.
6. Service changes and availability
We may add, change, or discontinue features, and we do not guarantee that the service will always be available or error-free. We may set reasonable limits on use to protect the service and its users.
7. Termination and account deletion
You may stop using Orbita and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account in the app, which permanently deletes your account and data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or other users.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Orbita is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orbita will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
